Tea Brewing
The tastes of Oolong teas are deep and flavourful.
I order to get the best taste from your diet teas, some easy brewing steps have to be taken.
Here what need to brew that prefect cup of Wu Yi tea?
- A bag of Wu-yi Tea
- A tea pot
- A stirring spoon
- A watch or timer
- A kitchen thermometer
- Bottled or filtered water
The Procedure:
In a kettle, heat your bottled or filtered water to 90C / 190F
Place you teabag in your teapot
Add the hot water to your teapot
Let sit for 3 – 8 minutes, tasting with your spoon until you reach your desired flavour.
Poor yourself a cup
Once you’ve followed this tea brewing process a couple times, you’ll know how long to let your tea sit in the teapot to reach your preferred taste.
Note that adding water that is too hot can cause the tea to brew too fast giving a bitter taste. As a rule, if the water you are using has started to boil, it’s too hot ... let it cool a bit.
